Original “Magic Show” Souvenir Book: Part One

A full scan of the “Magic Show’s” souvenir book recently came my way, and what a time capsule it is!

From director Grover Dale’s introduction, to Kenn Duncan’s photos, to even the coloring book in the back, it all makes you feel like you were there seeing the show for the very first time. But, enough of my jibber jabber, take a look yourself!

To Be Continued Tomorrow…

Special Thanks to Brigitte Marlt

I used to have a copy of this from when Joe Abaldo was doing the show. It was one of my first Broadway experiences, and I was the child that got chosen to come on stage and kick the box at that performance. Somewhere I probably still have the program, signed by Joe to “the greatest assistant” which I got while waiting at the stage door. It stands out in my mind because I’ll never forget the reference to Little Beaver. The one thing I can’t find is the lyrics to the Goldfarb Variations, which I’m sure we’re part of the program. I still listen to the music, but that’s the one song that I’d really like to sing along to. Thank you for sharing this and bringing back some great memories.
