This little seen picture below was taken at Doug’s wedding to Barbara DeAngelis in 1977. The event itself took place in the Pacific Palisades of Los Angeles, and had about 150 guests in attendance mainly relatives. However, a handful magicians were invited including a long haired Ricky Jay whom you can see right behind Dai Vernon’s left shoulder. 

As a bonus, I thought I would include a more detailed description of Doug’s wedding by Bill Larsen from the February, 1978 issue of Genii. I had posted this as part of a larger multi-article spread last year, but some things are always worth a relook. Especially this one!
