Scouring Doug items on EBay is kind of a mixed bag. There’s a lot of standard stuff that was mass produced, and floods the page (i.e. Wonder Whims, programs, etc). But, every now and then you come across some unique nuggets that make it worth your while. Case in point, these seven performance photos that were taken in the front row of an unnamed town in 1979. 

From the looks of it, Doug was in fine form that night, performing some of his most well known illusions (Sands of Time, Rings, Handkerchief in a Bottle, etc). He even seems to be playing to the camera in one photo.
