So totally by chance I posted the above picture in the banner of yesterday’s post. It’s from the opener of Doug’s guest appearance on “The Muppet Show.” You remember how those went right? (15 seconds to curtain Mr. Henning).

Anyway, yesterday’s collector Michael Whitecar  quickly sent me another item from his collection that on closer inspection…

is the exact same costume.

Coincidence? Hmm, why don’t we ponder that over the long President’s Day weekend? Until Tuesday folks!

PS: In case your wondering, today’s banner features another item from Doug’s “Muppet Show” wardrobe….his Magic Feet. But, somehow I don’t think anyone has those lying around.
