You may have to squint your eyes a little, the above  article comes from the Oakville Trafalgar High School’s 75th Anniversary commemorative newspaper. Doug, in preparations for “Merlin” at the time, speaks fondly of his formative years in high school and what they meant to him. 

While he wasn’t able to attend the reunion that year, Doug always seemed to carry a bit of Oakville with him throughout his many travels.
