I just wanted to alert everyone to a recent post by John Cox of the excellent Houdini website Wild About Harry

In 1987, the Disney Sunday Movie aired the very rarely seen TV film “Young Harry Houdini” on ABC. The film itself was a fictional retelling of Houdini’s life as a teen, played by Wil Wheaton. It’s a fun film if you take it for what it is, and it can be seen in its entirety now on You Tube. I’ve posted a link to the film above. 

If you look closely at the closing credits you will also see “Doug Henning Magic” listed as the technical advisor for the film. Doug had been working with Disney and their Imagineers at the time in a creative capacity. The partnership didn’t amount to much ultimately, however this film remains.
