I just found this ultra rare documentary from 1992 today, and I’m going to guess that not many people out there have seen it as well. 

“Man Alive” focuses on Doug and his interest in Transcendental Mediation. It’s one of the more detailed television pieces I’ve seen with Doug discussing the topic along with Debby. 

It also shows that Doug was indeed out there in the early 1990s, and not quite the mysterious hermit he is frequently portrayed as during that time.
