I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention that today, February 7th, marks twenty-two years since Doug passed on. 

With this website, my goal is to always focus on the positive aspects of Doug’s life and work, and how it affected people. Unfortunately, this final part of Doug’s story is one we can all very much do without. 

However, Doug’s work, like all the greats in entertainment, is still here for us to see. His specials, clips, memorabilia, and interviews, are still out there waiting to be discovered by new generations. Generations who may have heard of a rainbow and glitter bedazzled man who once took the world by storm. 

While he may not be here in a physical form, for me Doug still exists in all of our collective hearts and minds. Especially in this website. That my friends is truly the greatest magic and wonder of all!
