The goal of “The Doug Henning Project” has always been to showcase all the elements of Doug’s life and career. Case in point is this rarely seen news story from the CBC archives. 

This news story delves into Transcendental Meditation’s Natural Law Party, and Doug’s involvement in it. While Doug himself is only shown speaking, it’s a fascinating piece on the later part of Doug’s life. 

It’s obvious at this point Doug was attempting to transform his public image. However, his magic career was never quite far behind in the public’s consiousness.
