While many of us have seen Doug’s extended 1975 appearance on “Captain Kangaroo.” (If you haven’t a link can be found HERE ) But, did you know that he appeared once again in 1976?  This lengthy opening recently found its way on You Tube, and features Doug wishing the Captain a “Good Morning” in the only way a magician could.  Clearly taped the previous year, this is “Magic Show” era Doug at his best!

Chock full of celebrity cameos, this snippet of 1970s children’s television will hopefully bring you back to a time where TV networks actually allotted mornings to children’s programming. Imagine that.
