Escape Artist Dean Gunnarson was kind enough to share with me some rare items from his Doug collection, highlighting of course Doug’s original “Water Torture Cell” from “World of Magic I.”
Dean had bought the original cell from Brett Daniels in 1990. To confirm its provenance, Dean even had the opportunity to show the cell to Doug who confirmed its authenticity. As you can see, the cell itself is immaculately preserved, and has found a good home with Dean in Canada.
To top things off, Dean even had the opportunity to get a picture with Doug during his campaign for the Natural Law Party in Canada. All in all, a nice collection I’d say.
