I just wanted to take a quick moment to remember Doug, today May 3rd, on what would have been his 77th birthday. It’s hard to picture Doug with white hair and wrinkles. However, that twinkle in his eye, and enthusiasm for life would have been still front and center I’m sure!
So, wherever you are today, take a moment, raise that proverbial glass, and send a toast to our man Doug. I’m sure he’ll appreciate it. I know I would.

50 years ago today we were breaking down The Magic Show illusions in the rehearsal space at the American School of Ballet. We were on the 2nd floor. It took three days to get the illusions down the back fire escape. The pressure was on.
