Original “Magic Show” Set Design Sketch

@Glen Henry Collection

The above piece comes from Henning admirer Glen Henry and is a real rare piece of Broadway history.  It’s not often that you find a production sketch from the original version of “The Magic Show” at a small store in Ocean Grove, New Jersey. But that, my friends, is exactly what happened. How it ended up there is a mystery.

I’ve been unlucky in finding out the name of the specific designer who drew this. So, if anyone out there knows please drop me line.

UPDATE: The Set Designer was David Chapman

Special Thanks to Glen Henry

    The photo of Doug and Dale Kissing while he has the cougar under control on a lease was Doug’s visions of the end of The Magic Show.
