The cover photo of this article is Doug and Rebel, the cougar for Spellbound and The Magic Show. It was taken in July of 1974 on Volney Phifer’s Animal Farm in New Jersey. The pendant hanging around his neck is the one Irene the clairvoyant on the CBC pilot quiz show, Beyond Reason, used to reveal who he was.
