Never one to rest on his laurels, Doug took the perceived failure of “Merlin,” and came roaring back to Broadway the very next year!
Over the Christmas season of 1984/85, “Doug Henning and his World of Magic” reminded audiences of what made them love Doug in the first place. It was an evening of pure magic and greatest hits that enchanted everyone, and packed the Lunt-Fontanne.
You could say Doug Henning was back, but in reality…he never left.
