Sorry for the delay in posts folks. Little did I know that when I last signed off on Christmas Eve that in quick succession I would be sick for two weeks, and then have the the Los Angeles fires to contend with.

Aside from a close call, my family and I are okay, and I’m looking forward to more regular Doug posts in 2025. I think we can all use some of that magic and wonder for sure.

The above clip originally aired in 1985 on Seattle’s own KIRO-TV, and shows Doug performing a neat little shirt illusion for Larry Sturholm. It’s fast, simple, and pure Doug. However, Sturholm, not to be outdone, takes everything to another level with an extended comedy sketch.

Granted this sketch is long, but it’s a nice slice of life, and a window into Doug on local TV while he toured. Enjoy!
